An Adult Coloring Page for Thanksgiving — Color Outside the Lines

November 21st, 2017 by Our Webmaster

    By Ariel Knutson

When I was a kid I didn’t look forward to the turkey, mashed potatoes, or even pumpkin pie. What I wanted to do more than anything else on Thanksgiving was color the giant full-page turkey for the “Oh, You Turkey” contest in theStar Tribune newspaper in Minneapolis. Unfortunately, you can only enter the contest if you’re under the age of 12.

Seeing as how adult coloring books are all the rage, I thought it was appropriate to relive my childhood dreams, so I ask my friend Liz Apple to design a coloring page for Thanksgiving. I hope you have some colored pencils, markers, and paints around — you’re going to need them.

Watch Marie Kondo Organize Things in the Kitchen — Kitchen Heroes

November 21st, 2017 by Our Webmaster

    By Ariel Knutson

Marie Kondo has totally changed the way I view my home and all the “stuff” I have accumulated over the years. You see, I’m generally a pretty sentimental person, so normally things like pants that don’t fit me would be “hard” to donate or throw away because memories. And even though I’m not a perfect Kondo follower by any means, she’s helped me understand my relationship with objects and organizing in ways that have had a huge impact on my life. I know, super corny, but it’s true.

All this is to say that I’ll basically read or watch Marie Kondo do anything because she is so inspiring and thoughtful in everything she does. This is exactly why we asked her to visit our office and show us a thing or two on small ways to organize in the kitchen. Watch these videos and feel at peace.

November 21st, 2017 by Our Webmaster

    By Faith Durand

Turkey gets the magazine covers and the big platters, but let’s be real — stuffing is the star of the show, at least on my table. And when I say stuffing, I mean the most classic, herby, moist, and fragrant bread stuffing — just like what you get out of the box, but even better.
